BUSHBUCK
Good quality bushbuck are scarce, yet it remains high on the bucket list of an avid bowhunter. With ample rams over the 14" mark, Spiral Game Breeders focuses on the intensive breeding of Limpopo bushbuck. View the collection of rams we have used to breed with since 2017.
Texas
Passively captured all the way from Houston, Texas, it made sense to name this huge ram TEXAS. This 17 & 1/8" bushbuck was Spiral Game Breeders' flagship ram. With thick bases of over 6" and a beautiful shape, he was simply magnificent. Texas was sold in April 2020 and his offspring show immense potential to step in their sire's footsteps of reaching 17".
Lusaka
Lusaka is a 16"+ breeding ram, which we acquired in 2023.
He now forms part of our main breeding project and shows immense potential to exceed the 17" mark by 2024.
He is still a young ram with soft bases.
Kampala
In early 2025 Kampala was added to our bush buck camp as our new 17"+ young bush buck breeding ram.
We are excited about what this high end genetics will produce in the future.

Victorious
We believe in the Lord's provision in anything and everything. The day after we sold our main breeding ram - Texas - we passively captured a magnificent bushbuck ram. Victorious measured just under 15" (14 & 3/4") when we sold him in 2021. He had a big body and his horns had a beautiful shape with tips flaring outwards.
Kwena
In early 2023 we introduced some top quality Thaba Tholo genetics to our breeding herd.
Kwena measured 13 and 7/8" at the tender age of 3 years.
We are excited about what this combination of high end genetics will produce in the future.

Suka
Similar in shape to Veliko, Suka had extremely spiralling horns which flanked out perfectly! His tip-to-tip was a stunning 8” and a horn length of 15". After breeding with him for a few years, we had to say goodbye to him, but his sons are seen with similar horn characteristics.
Veliko
​Veliko had nice symmetrical horns that flank out beautifully at the tips. There was also a lot of mass on his horns which added to the length. Unfortunately his carcass was found with the cause of death unknown. His horns measured 14.5” on both sides.
